  1. Banana Republic 100% Lamb’s Wool. The original sweater was knit with a double strand of lace weight. The gauge swatches in the last photo demonstrate the native two strand weight worked on US3’s on the left, and a three strand on US4’s. To knit the latter, I split the sleeve sections into individual strands, shown in the second to the last photo.
